Services and Resources for Veterans and Their Families
There are many resources available for our veteran families and this listing is not intended to be an exhaustive list of national and state resources. Rather this is intended to provide a place to start when help is needed. Please remember that if you or your family member are in crisis, to immediately call the Veterans Crisis Line https://www.veteranscrisisline.net/ at 1-800-273-8255, press 1 or text 838255. Locally in Colorado, you can call Colorado Crisis Services at 1-844-493-8255 or Text “TALK” to 38255.
The Veterans Administration, state and county veteran offices and our National Guard family assistance office, also have access to information on a number of regional veteran service organizations and local agencies that can assist our veteran families. Please make use of their resources and services.
Additionally, you can also meet with our Client Care Specialist at Healing Warriors Program clinic to ask about additional community services that may be available and to schedule an appointment for clinic services. Please call our clinic at 970-776-8387 to schedule an appointment.
