Healing Touch

Jackie Cooper, HTCP
Healing Touch
After working over 40 years in corporate sales as a large account manager, one of my closest friends, who is a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner and Instructor for the Healing Touch Program, invited me to take her Level 1 Healing Touch Class in Fort Collins, CO. Four more levels followed with a 6-month apprenticeship, and I became a Healing Touch Certified Practitioner.
I bought a small office condo called Good Juju Group, where I have been providing Healing Touch to my clients for the past 13 years. During the first year of my practice, I was involved in the planning for bringing the Healing Warriors Program to fruition. My father (Army), mother (Army nurse), and step-father (Surgeon) were all Veterans, so it felt quite natural to be working with Veterans to me. Being able to offer numerous Healing Touch techniques through a 6-week series, such as improving Sleep, PTSD, and Interpersonal Trauma, has been life-changing to our Veterans, and I am very grateful to be a part of the Healing Warriors team.
In my spare time, I have always loved the Theatre and was fortunate enough to direct several plays while living in Denver. I often coach the young neighborhood kids who are the rising starlites with their auditions for the various productions in the area.
Being a part of HWP from its beginning and being able to take the experiences and insights we have gained in working with our Veterans throughout these years has given us the opportunity to fine tune and develop new series and programs to take them ever deeper to help alleviate the traumas, pain, anxiety, stress, sleepless nights they have been experiencing throughout their lives. I am proud to be a part of the Healing Warriors Program.

Carol Anderson, BSN, RN, HTP, Angelic Reiki Master
Healing Touch
Having worked at Poudre Valley Hospital for 23 years, my experience is in many areas of clinical nursing. During that time, I also studied Holistic Nursing at Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood. That education took me into the study of Healing Touch. Over the years, I have taken many classes in Healing Touch and experienced the many benefits of Healing Touch as well. After retirement, I studied and learned about working with the angels and thus achieved level of Master Teacher.
Living in Fort Collins for 37 years, I enjoy the mountains, hiking, skiing, and getting out with my dogs. I enjoy time with my family and my beautiful 4 grandchildren. I also love to read, be creative, garden, and travel.

Cindy JaneChild, RN
Craniosacral Therapy
I am new to Colorado, moving here to be close to my son and his family. I am new to the Healing Warriors Program but not new to helping people. As a Nurse Practitioner in Virginia, I have worked in traditional family practices for decades. In the early 90’s, I was introduced to Craniosacral Therapy. lntrigued by the healing powers of hands-on therapies, l went on to learn Craniosacral Therapy, Zero Balancing, Lymphatic Drainage, Visceral Manipulation and fascial techniques.
Joining the team of therapists at the Healing Warriors Program has been a great opportunity for me to share my work with Veterans. I work at the Denver Walk-in clinic and the Arapahoe Satellite clinic.
I appreciate the goals of the Healing Warriors Program; blending treatment modalities and offering valued help to Veterans.
