A Free Pancake Breakfast provided by the Fort Collins Lions Club is coming to the Drake Centre from 8:30am to 11:30am on Saturday, September 10th. Sponsored by Blue Federal Credit Union, all Veterans and caregivers are invited to attend. Information will be on hand about the Healing Warriors Program and their dedication to suicide prevention through free integrative, non-narcotic treatments available for Veterans, their spouse/partner and parents during National Suicide Prevention Awareness week. The annual Star Spangled Gala celebrating Veterans and supporting Healing Warriors Program free non-narcotic clinics for Veterans and their families, has grown each year attracting guests from all along the Colorado front range.  The Star Spangled Gala will feature a VIP visit and a professional photo opportunity with the Aquarium’s Animal Ambassadors, a live and silent auction, gourmet cuisine, wine pairing, elegant signature cocktail, and special jewelry gift bags for each guest provided by our sponsor. The Healing Warriors 3rd Annual 5k Fun Run/Walk is a fun, family & pet friendly event held at the beautiful Spring Canyon Park. This professionally timed event is perfect for serious runners who may be looking to improve a time, or just have a fun time running, jogging or walking to support our Veteran families. Check-in begins at 9:00 a.m. and race begins at 10:00 a.m. Each registered participant will receive a branded race shirt*, and goody bag.
