Abby Gehlhausen

Abby Gehlhausen

MSAOM, L.Ac, LMP

Abby is a licensed acupuncturist with a Masters in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from one of the world’s leading centers in natural medicine, Bastyr University in Kenmore, WA. She is licensed in the state of Colorado as well as being a nationally certified Diplomate of Acupuncture by the NCCAOM. While in school for her acupuncture degree, she also earned her massage license from Bellevue School of Massage with the desire to have a deeper understanding of the human body through hands on experience. Abby’s strong love and devotion for acupuncture developed while she was a competitive swimmer long before committing to her education in the subject. The medicine taught her the importance of balance in all aspects of life in order to achieve true, lasting health. Acupuncture provided a modality for healing from the repetitive injuries that plagued her during her swimming career.

Jacob Glenn

Jacob Glenn

Acupuncturist-Herbalist Specializing in Neurological Health, Pain Management, Men's Health and Fertility

Jacob began his journey in health care as a child influenced by his uncle who was an acupuncturist for nearly two decades and his father who is a respiratory therapist currently working with the VA.  From an early age, he watched as his mother experienced the benefits of acupuncture and herbal therapy for MS hoping to one day manage her treatments himself, as he does now. His mentor of many years in Seminole, FL is a well known acupuncturist and naturopath who treats all conditions but specializes in prolo-therapy and hormonal disorders.  Jacob has also had the pleasure of working under a well known TCM practitioner in Sarasota, FL who specializes in geriatrics and supplemental cancer care.

Before, during, and after acupuncture school, Jacob branched out to expand his Western knowledge in pharmacy working as a compound pharmacy technician. This has enabled him to treat patients in the most holistic way possible. In 2016, Jacob added to his scope of practice by attending the esteemed Integrated Fertility Symposium in Vancouver.  Through all of his coursework and mentorships, Jacob has built a broad base of knowledge that allows him to treat a variety of conditions from pain management & orthopedic issues to internal disorders, including fertility and ART support. He is also certified in AIT and uses this therapy to treat many conditions, particularly chronic pain and acute injuries.

Jacob is currently treating military personnel and their family members at Healing Warriors Program in Fort Collins. This program provides patients the opportunity to be treated by three modalities – Acupuncture, Healing Touch and CranioSacral Therapy.  Jacob is excited for this opportunity as it is a great way to give back to our heroes by helping ease pain, lessen PTSD symptoms and recover from other ailments that have come about during or after their service.

In his personal life Jacob enjoys an active, adventure-filled lifestyle.  He has been an avid sports enthusiast and soccer fan since he began playing at age 4. Since living in the beautiful Colorado, Jacob has also picked up rock climbing, skiiing and long leisurely drives through the mountains.

Yvonne Piper

Yvonne Piper

Acupuncturist

I studied at one of the most prestigious Acupuncture Colleges in the country, Southwest Acupuncture College (Albuquerque & Santa Fe, NM Campuses). I had the privilege of studying at The University of Heilongjiang, in Harbin, China, and completed internships at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital, and The Safe House (a shelter for abused families). I utilize Master Tung styles and Japanese style needle technique. Trigger point needling also known as Dry Needle Technique and DoTerra Esssential Oils.

I started my journey with Alternative Medicine when I was 23. I was diagnosed with a sleuth of disorders, on top of the many sports injuries I obtained throughout the years, and continued to receive. While I was working in the Fitness Industry many of my students and clients would ask me in depth questions about their health care concerns more and more. I was not qualified to answer, but I wanted to answer their questions, so I decided to go back to school.I had such great results in my previous years with Acupuncture and Herbs that I decided to follow the Alternative Medicine path. I understand what pain is and how to treat it with a gentle approach. My treatment method is for those who need a gentle touch and suffer from arthritis, fibromyalgia, sports injuries and limitations of aging. I offer treatment strategies that are designed for your body to work within its own limitations without force. Modifications are necessary for getting our bodies moving when they have sustained injury or are chronically deterioriating. As a result of my studies, I am now 97% pain free, and managing the other ailments very well. In fact my physicians only see me occasional for routine visits. I have eliminated many of the disorders I was suffering from.
